Window Cleaning on the Sunshine Coast
Living on the Sunshine Coast means enjoying views of the hinterland, the ocean, or at the very least a bright, sun-filled home. Dirty windows ruin that. Salt spray, dust, pollen, and the residue from Queensland storms build up fast, especially in beachside and elevated suburbs. Sunshine Coast Cleaners keeps your glass spotless so you can actually enjoy the scenery.
We provide interior and exterior window cleaning for homes and businesses from Noosa through to Caloundra. Our team uses professional squeegee techniques and purified water-fed pole systems to deliver streak-free results without leaving marks or drips.
Salt Spray and Coastal Living
If you live near the beach, you already know about salt spray. It is the white haze that coats your windows within days of cleaning them with a garden hose. Salt is corrosive and if left on glass and frames for extended periods, it can etch the glass surface and degrade aluminium frames. Our cleaning process removes salt deposits thoroughly and we can recommend a cleaning schedule that keeps ahead of the buildup based on how close your property sits to the waterline.
Properties in Coolum Beach, Mooloolaba, and Noosa Heads are particularly affected. We have regular clients in these areas who book every four to six weeks and see a noticeable difference in how their home looks and feels between cleans.
What Is Included
- Interior glass cleaned and polished streak-free
- Exterior glass cleaned using squeegee or water-fed pole
- Screen removal, wash, and re-fitting
- Track and sill cleaning to remove dirt and debris
- Fly screen condition check with repair flagging
We also clean glass balustrades, pool fences, skylights (where safely accessible), and glass sliding doors. If you have specialty glass such as tinted or coated windows, we use appropriate methods to avoid damage.
Our Process
We start from the top and work down. Screens are removed first so we can access the glass properly, then washed separately and left to dry while we work on the panes. Tracks and sills are scraped, brushed, and wiped clean. For exterior windows above ground level, we use water-fed poles with purified water that dries without spots or streaks. The result is glass that looks like it is not even there.
Areas We Service
We clean windows across all Sunshine Coast suburbs including Noosa, Noosa Heads, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Caloundra, Buderim, Nambour, Coolum Beach and surrounding areas. Whether it is a beachfront apartment in Mooloolaba or a Queenslander in Nambour, we have the equipment and experience to handle it.
Want the full package? Many of our clients combine window cleaning with regular house cleaning for a complete home maintenance solution. For businesses, our commercial cleaning service includes window cleaning as an add-on or standalone booking.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you clean second storey windows?
Yes. We use water-fed pole systems that allow us to safely clean windows up to three storeys from the ground. For higher or more complex access, we assess the property and advise on the best approach.
How often should coastal homes have windows cleaned?
For homes within a few hundred metres of the beach, we recommend window cleaning every four to six weeks to manage salt spray buildup. Properties further inland can generally go eight to twelve weeks between cleans.
Can you clean louvre windows?
We can. Louvres are common in Sunshine Coast homes and we clean each blade individually, both sides. It takes a bit longer than standard windows but the result is worth it.
What if it rains right after you clean?
We offer a rain guarantee. If it rains within 48 hours of your clean and affects the results, we will come back and re-clean the affected windows at no charge. Clean glass actually sheds rainwater better than dirty glass, so light rain usually is not an issue.
